For our third collaboration with a cherished client, Studio D Design had the privilege of transforming a modest townhouse in Cherry Creek North into a bold and luxurious pied-à-terre.
This project exemplifies Studio D’s expertise in Denver interior design and high-end residential renovation, where every detail tells a story of refinement, personality, and daring sophistication. From the moment you step inside, the home commands attention. A fluted black marble with an inlayed brass fireplace sets the tone for unapologetic elegance, mirrored by a custom brass railing that draws the eye upward toward a floor-to-ceiling mural - a gallery-worthy backdrop for a dramatic entrance. These gestures, while grand, feel personal, reflecting the client’s love of art and her confident, fearless approach to life.
Each space is layered with textures, tones, and details that nod to the client’s history and passions. Having lived in Paris, she brings a cultivated European sensibility to the project - favoring spaces that are as curated as they are comfortable. Her townhouse reflects this duality: a pied-à-terre that feels as cosmopolitan as a Left Bank apartment, yet unmistakably rooted in Denver’s vibrant Cherry Creek North neighborhood.
The primary suite became a central design focus. Determined to give our client the sanctuary she deserved within the constraints of townhouse living, we crafted a luminous fluted-glass wall that separates the bedroom and bath. It doubles as a glowing backdrop for the liquid gold channel tufted headboard, while a sculptural arched entry signals transition into the bathroom, where elegance meets an element of surprise. Large-format porcelain slabs resembling Paonazzo Biondo marble deliver the dramatic veining and luxurious look of stone, while offering practicality.
