In Denver’s vibrant RiNo neighborhood, Studio D infused artistry and texture into a 3,400 sq. ft. Mies van der Rohe-inspired residence, transforming it into a home that balances clean architectural lines with layers of warmth and individuality.

From the start, the design embraced the home’s glass-centric architecture. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the main level with natural light, diffused through tailored linen drapery that creates a dynamic shift from bright openness by day to a glowing cocoon by night. The interiors celebrate vibrancy and texture, grounded by the client’s impeccable art collection, which Studio D integrated as both focal points and conversation pieces throughout the home.
The open-plan main level seamlessly connects indoors and out. An aesthetically seamless kitchen complete with integrated appliances, hand-crafted cabinetry, and a sculptural branching chandelier, flows into a living area framed by oversized sliding doors. These extend the space into a newly realized outdoor oasis, where Studio D collaborated on landscape additions to maximize privacy, amplify visual impact, and instill calm. A sunken courtyard draws light into the lower level, animating a relaxed living space with a wet bar, home gym, and guest suite.
Upstairs, the primary suite exudes gravitas. A custom closet, structured pendant lighting, and a fully tiled en suite create a retreat-like atmosphere. A shaft skylight illuminates the dual-headed walk-in shower, where a floating double vanity underscores the clean-lined sophistication. A second bedroom was reimagined as a bespoke dressing room, extending the home’s luxury well beyond the ordinary.
By honoring the purity of the home’s modernist shell while layering in bold textures, bespoke details, and meaningful artwork, Studio D crafted a residence that feels both highly personal and universally captivating. This RiNo modern stands as an exemplar of contemporary Denver living—where art, architecture, and lifestyle merge seamlessly.
